Environmental educators of the Ile-Alatau SNNP S. Abilova, Zh. Nietalieva held a seminar on the topic “Let’s save the snow leopard” at the Turgensai visit center for students of the Tauturgen primary secondary school in order to familiarize them with the snow leopard living in the wild, including those listed in the Red Book. During the lesson, video materials from camera traps were demonstrated, information about the snow leopard was told, students’ knowledge was tested, and quiz questions were asked. The students were presented with gifts and certificates. The specialists of the Turgensai visitor center also presented gifts to the participants from their side and organized a lunch in nature. The purpose of the lesson is to increase students’ love for nature, to call for the protection of animals, knowledge about them, and respect for nature.
